Pile Hammer How to Work?
The vibrating pile hammer employs high-frequency vibrations to transmit mechanical vertical acceleration to the pile, altering the soil structure around it and reducing its strength. This process liquefies the surrounding soil, minimizing frictional resistance between the pile sides and the soil itself. Utilizing the excavator's downward force, combined with the vibrations and the pile's weight, facilitates efficient pile sinking. When extracting piles, the vibratory conditions allow the excavator's lift force to smoothly retract the pile. The excitation force required for the operation is meticulously determined based on site-specific soil characteristics, moisture content, pile type, and construction parameters.
