Pile Hammer How to Work?
The vibrating pile hammer employs high-frequency vibrations, transmitting intense vertical acceleration to the pile body. This mechanism alters the soil structure around the pile, diminishing its strength and transforming it into a more pliable state. As the soil liquefies, frictional resistance between the pile's side and the soil minimizes, facilitating pile penetration. Utilizing the excavator's downforce, combined with the hammer's vibrations and the pile's own weight, the pile is driven seamlessly into the ground. For extraction, vibrations assist in pulling out the pile using the excavator's lifting force.
