Pile Hammer Operation
The vibrating pile hammer employs high-frequency vibration to accelerate the pile body, transmitting vertical mechanical vibrations to the pile. This causes a change in the surrounding soil structure, reducing its strength and leading to liquefaction, which minimizes the frictional resistance between the pile sides and the soil. Utilizing the excavator's downward force, the vibrating pile hammer's power, and the pile's weight, the pile is driven into the soil. During extraction, the vibrations combined with the excavator's lifting force pull the pile out. The excitation force required for pile driving is determined by the site's soil characteristics, moisture content, pile type, and construction conditions.
