The vibrating pile hammer operates by using its high-frequency vibrations to transmit mechanical vertical vibrations to the pile body at high acceleration. This process alters the soil structure around the pile, reducing its strength and causing soil liquefaction. This reduction in soil friction allows the pile to sink into the soil with the combined force of the excavator, the vibration hammer, and the pile body weight. For extraction, the pile is pulled out under vibration using the excavator's lifting force. The excitation force required is determined by factors such as site soil type, soil condition, moisture content, and type of pile construction.
