Pile Hammer How to Work?
The vibrating pile hammer employs high-frequency vibrations to induce high acceleration in the pile body. This vibration effectively transmits vertical motion, altering the soil's structure around the pile and reducing its strength. As the soil around the pile liquefies, the frictional resistance between the pile's sides and the soil diminishes. The pile then sinks into the ground using the combined forces of the excavator's downward pressure, the vibro hammer's vibrations, and the pile's weight. For pile extraction, the pile is vibrated while being pulled out using the excavator's lifting force. The excitation force required for pile driving machinery is determined by a comprehensive analysis of site soil, soil condition, moisture content, pile type, and construction factors.
