Pile Hammer How to Work?
The vibrating pile hammer utilizes high-frequency vibrations to accelerate the pile body, transmitting vertical vibrations to the pile. This process alters the soil structure around the pile, reducing its strength and causing soil liquefaction, thereby diminishing frictional resistance between the pile and the soil. Using the excavator's downforce, combined with the vibrating pile hammer and the pile's weight, the pile is efficiently driven into the soil. For extraction, the vibratory state is maintained as the excavator's lifting force pulls the pile out. The necessary excitation force for pile driving is determined by a comprehensive assessment of the site soil, soil conditions, moisture content, and pile type, along with construction requirements.
