Pile Hammer How to Work?
Utilizing high-frequency vibrations, the vibrating pile hammer transfers intense vertical vibrations to the pile. This process alters the soil structure around the pile, significantly decreasing its strength. The surrounding soil liquefies, reducing frictional resistance between the pile sides and the soil. By combining the excavator's downward force, the hammer's vibrations, and the pile's own weight, the pile is effortlessly driven into the soil. For extraction, vibration assists the excavator's lift force in smoothly pulling out the pile. The required excitation force is determined by a variety of factors, including site soil composition, conditions, moisture content, pile type, and construction specifics.
