The vibrating pile hammer utilizes high-frequency vibrations to impart significant acceleration to the pile body, transmitting vertical vibrations. This process alters the soil structure around the pile, reducing its strength and causing soil liquefaction. This reduces frictional resistance between the pile sides and the soil. Using excavator downforce, combined with the vibrating pile hammer and the weight of the pile body, the pile is driven into the soil. For extraction, the vibration helps release the pile using the excavator's lift force. The excitation force necessary for pile driving is determined by site-specific factors such as soil type, soil condition, moisture content, and pile type.
