Pile Hammer How to Work?

The vibrating pile hammer operates by generating high-frequency vibrations that transmit vertical vibrations to the pile, altering the soil structure around it. This process decreases soil strength and causes liquefaction, reducing friction between the pile and soil. The excavator's downforce, paired with the vibrating hammer and pile weight, drives the pile into the soil. During extraction, the same vibration assists in pulling out the pile using the excavator's lifting force. The required excitation force for pile driving is determined by site soil conditions, moisture content, and pile type.
